Pupil Free Day - Tuesday June 11th. There is no school for students on this day.
MAY 19TH
This week we celebrate Education Week. I believe we do that every week at Auburn, with a focus on children and their learning being at the forefront of every decision, large or small, that is made at our school.
Extra-curricula activities
Over the last few years we have had a number of extra curricula activities running at lunchtimes, in addition to the instrumental music classes that run throughout every day. Classes have included chess, hip hop dancing and drama time. Fine arts classes continue to run on Friday, and smart art classes are very popular on Mondays, after school. Parents pay the fee set by the provider to access these programs.Progam advertisements (except hip hop) can be found here.

May 23rd - Grandparents' and Special Friends Morning Always well attended, and your assistance in learning areas, and with catering is needed
Grandparents' and Special Friends' Morning - May 23rd
This very popular, annual event will take place on Thursday May 23rd, from 9:15 - 11:00am. Invitations will be posted on Friday, May 10th.
Help is needed in classrooms, and for catering. Please contact Cristy.
Outdoor facilities - after school access
Now that our capital works money has been approved, groups utilising the facilities, especially in the asphalt areas, are going to be significantly impacted. While we don;t yet have a start date, it's probably advisable for those groups to look for alternative practice venues from the beginning of term 4, for about 12 months.
