Building Resilience

The school adopts a proactive, restorative approach to student welfare and in managing classroom discipline. This supports the development of resilience and positive self-esteem. We include thought provoking and fun ways of developing strategies to cope with life’s challenges.

Peer mediators, and a strong student leadership program, model and promote the importance of being good people at all times.

We also have a strong anti-bullying policy. Our school works hard to ensure that students feel safe and happy at school.

Connect Groups are vertical pastoral care groups to which every student belongs. They foster student connections and wellbeing across all year levels. They are led by our Year 5 and 6s as part of their leadership development.
