Opportunities for Parent Involvement

The life of our school is enriched by the contribution of parents who share in decision making, policy development, social activities, on excursions, assistance in classrooms and with enrichment programs, coaching sporting teams and fund raising.

School Council

The School Council is the main decision making body of the school and is comprised of both parents and staff.

Auburn Parents Association

The Auburn Parents Association supports students by running a number of social and fundraising activities throughout the year and by supporting new parents and others who need assistance.

Classroom and Specialist Support

There is plenty of opportunity for classroom involvement at Auburn.

We encourage parents to be as actively involved in their child’s school life as time permits.

Teachers are always happy to have classroom support and regularly advise parents of upcoming opportunities to be involved.

A current Working With Children check (WWC) is required to work with our students.
