At difficult times for families, a meal delivered can be such a welcome relief.

This is the aim of our Tuckerbox program, run by parents for the benefit of parents and staff.

Tuckerbox has been an integral part of our parent support network and contributes significantly to the sense of community within the school environment.

Over the course of the year Tuckerbox distributes more than 100 meals throughout our school community.

We ask our community to volunteer to cook a meal that can be frozen. The meal needs to be prepared in accordance with safe food handling practices and labelled with ingredients, heating instructions and dates of preparation and freezing.

We love to receive family meals that are good for children and parents to eat. Meals that are suitable for vegetarians and that are gluten free are also very much in demand.

Information on how to become involved in the program, as well as how to nominate a family for assistance, is available via the Compass App filed under: School Documention/2017 APA Documents and Newsletters/Documents/Tuckerbox Form 2017
