Education Week at Auburn Primary School
May 25, 2026
At Auburn Primary School, every week is Education Week.
Throughout the year, our students engage in a wide range of learning experiences designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and a love of learning. This week alone, students participated in cooking activities in Chinese class, represented the school in interschool sports, and explored food sustainability and coding through a Scratch workshop supported by Swinburne University. Students also took part in engaging mathematics activities that encouraged problem solving and collaboration.
Alongside our strong literacy and numeracy programs, these experiences help students apply their learning in meaningful and authentic ways. Our programs are designed to challenge, support and inspire students to become confident learners who can connect their knowledge to the world around them.
To celebrate Education Week, students, families and staff also came together to create a shared display reflecting on what makes Auburn such a special place to learn and grow. The display captures the strong sense of community, belonging and opportunity that sits at the heart of our school.
At Auburn, learning extends far beyond the classroom — and every week is an opportunity to learn, connect and thrive.
